Zacharias is the founding partner of Nordic Law and he may without a doubt be characterized as the “Grand Old Man” of Finnish corporate law.

Zacharias has a very wide and varied experience in the field of corporate law, and he still regularly advises clients in assignments relating to, inter alia, contract and tax law. He is also active in the field of corporate advisory.

Zacharias has specialized on his respectfully long career in corporate law, whereby it is natural that he has got considerable expertise also in relation to M&A and company restructurings. In addition, Zacharias is highly active regarding assignments concerning dispute resolution, including both traditional litigation as well as arbitration procedures both institutional and ad hoc.

Zacharias is also known for his high level of expertise regarding demanding and complex white-collar crimes, and he has been assisting clients in Finland’s largest cases concerning said area of law.

To Zacharias’ special interests include human rights and he has got a vast experience of court proceedings in the European Court of Human Rights. Close to his heart are also assignments related to maritime and aviation law.
