Max Atallah Appointed as Nordic Law’s New Managing Partner

As we welcome the new year, it is the perfect time to look ahead and explore upcoming trends in the legal market. With that in mind, Nordic Law is pleased to announce that our current partner, Max Atallah, has been appointed as the firm’s next Managing Partner. He will officially assume the role on March 1, 2025, following in the footsteps of Jon Hautamäki, who has successfully led the firm for the past nine years.

Max’s appointment as Managing Partner brings a fresh vision to our leadership and further strengthens our commitment to supporting emerging technologies. His dedication to client success and his drive to develop new operational approaches have positioned the fintech, Web3, and data teams he leads among Finland’s foremost industry players.

“Our firm has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, securing a leading position as a boutique law firm in our relevant markets. To take the next leap forward, all partners unanimously agreed that Max is the ideal choice for this phase of Nordic Law’s journey. His deep understanding of our key markets and his clear, forward-looking vision for our firm’s development were crucial factors in this decision. I am personally excited to see the next chapter of our firm’s growth unfold under Max’s expert leadership” says Jon Hautamäki, Nordic Law’s outgoing Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board.

"I am truly grateful for the trust placed in me and take the helm of Nordic Law with determination. Naturally, this role comes with great responsibility, but I embrace it with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to further developing our firm and the services we offer—together with our entire team. Our goal remains to provide the best possible service to our clients while fostering a thriving corporate culture for our people. At this pivotal moment, I also want to extend my sincere thanks to Jon for his outstanding leadership—his legacy provides a strong foundation as we move forward," says Max.
